Description
Beautiful purple aurora! The colors were the result of the KP9-G5 strength solar storm that hit the earth on the night of May 11, 2024. Green is the most common color of the aurora, but because of the strength and intensity of the aurora on this night it produced the rare colors of red, blue and purple on a frequent basis to the delight of viewers who had a chance to see it. note, that the white streak of light is a satellite.
